Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Paro

  • Acclimatization and sightseeing.
  • Visit Paro Taktsang.

Day 2: Paro – Jele Dzong

  • Trek through forests and mountain slopes.
  • Camp near Jele Dzong.

Day 3: Jele Dzong – Jangchulakha

  • Scenic ridge walk.
  • Views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks.

Day 4: Jangchulakha – Jimilang Tsho

  • Trek to the beautiful high-altitude lake.
  • Camp beside the lake.

Day 5: Jimilang Tsho – Simkotra Tsho

  • Pass several alpine lakes and yak herder camps.
  • Excellent photography opportunities.

Day 6: Simkotra – Thimphu

  • Descend into Thimphu Valley.
  • Transfer to hotel or departure.
